The reversible metal curry comb is a versatile item of grooming kit, designed to be used to clean the body brush with, but unlike the metal curry comb can also be used directly on the horse (with care!) as a shedding blade to remove loose hair easily and quickly on soft areas of the horses body.
A body brush will quickly accumulate a lot of dirt and grease, and every few strokes on the horse, the brush should be scraped across the reversible metal curry comb to clean it. Both sides can be used for this purpose, and the rings of metal are on a spring to soften the action.
